Here are a few places which we and our friends enjoy eating at.  I would recommend calling and book to avoid disappointment!

East End Arms

We love going here for lunch, dinner or a drink, it’s just along the road from the cottage, the food is great and the atmosphere unique.

Fine Food 4 Sail

A lovely garden centre in Beaulieu which serves home-cooked breakfast, lunch and tea using local ingredients. Their scones are pretty delicious!

The Pig

Situated in Brockenhurst, lovely conservatory style restaurant which gets very busy, so book well in advance.

A truly beautiful hotel with service of the highest quality and prices to match.  The bar has an amazing gin menu; you can visit just for drinks or afternoon tea.  The Herb House Spa has a fantastic healthy food menu.

The Haven

The Gun Inn

A great place for crab sandwiches before or after going on a walk to Hurst Castle or a walk from Lymington.


The Elderflower

A fairly new restaurant in Lymington, which offers a menu with food passion from Andrew and Marjolaine.

Small, vibrant but relaxed, the cafe at Willow serves Italian Musetti coffee, speciality teas and other drinks along with delicious local handmade cakes throughout the day.
During the week there is a small lunch menu of beautifully presented platters and soups in the colder months”.

Willows Coffee shop is set within a beautiful home and lifestyle shop – lovely to have a wonder around in.  Serves delicious cakes.

The Mayflower

A great pub in Lymington, lots of outdoor seating in their garden.  Very children friendly.

There is a good curry house in Lymington, at the top end of the High Streetcalled Rivaz and also a good traditional fish and chip shop at the bottom of the High Street.  If a Pizza is in order – Prezzo and Pizza Express are also half way up the High Street.

The New Forest Ice-Cream is amazing a must for everyone!
